Go for it, I always wondered if they were too wide to fit in the engine bay. When I rack up some serious cash, I might just have to throw one of these in. :evil2:

Unless you plan on always having a good bit of spare money and are fairly mechanically inclined, I would say no. If you don't have another car while the supra is in need of having something fixed, it puts you in a bad position. This isn't just supra related though, pretty much any older turbo...
What loss of pressure at idle? You said you are getting 15, which is high if anything. It's been a while but I remember getting around 5 at idle with my 89. I'm pretty sure anything above 4 is within spec.
I do appreciate the lol that this thread brought though.
