Silk Road Coilovers.

So I'm considering doing quite a bit of suspension work this summer, as I dont have the time to try to put out oodles of power and do tuning.
I was just wondering if anybody here has a set of Silk Road coilovers on their mk3 and could tell me what they think about them, I'm considering ordering a set with spring rates of 20kg/mm front and 12kg/mm rear. :evil2:

I want to see where this thread goes. I am looking in buying coilovers in the next month and I am currently looking at Megan. I don't think there are many people running silk roads on here though.

I remember seeing a place that can get them for $1200 or around there.. and 1,614.05 ebay. both have a wait time because of custom spring rates.

"hamsmkiii" Has some on his car, I happened to go over to his house soon after he finished installing them and we were out in his car when he said "oh yea, I got the new coilovers on" and yanked the wheel back and fourth at like 50mph, That is honestly one of the coolest feelings I've felt while driving/riding in the car. Those coilovers coupled with his other suspension mods just made the car stick to the ground amazingly.

boris: i DD on mine and love it. some might not like it quite that stiff but i love it :D

on topic: i think 18k is about as hard as youd want to go in the front. i have 18k front 14k rear on my car and thats plenty.

how low do you have it set approximately? hows the transition thru corners with the 14k's in the rear? is it more grippy or is it pretty prone to sliding??- also- what tires are you using. lol

JIC FLT-A2 is a very nice coilover for mk3. I would take them over the Silk-Road. Actually I did LOL

20k front is way too high for a mk3, unless you have two engines in the front or something.
