no it does not change the amount of boost it will run but i does change the feul cut by a few pounds cuz it does go threw the ecu it is not i manuel guage it is electronic when i unpluged mine a got 2 or 3 expra psi before i hit fuel cut

u should go with a mks mhg its a little bit more but the last for ever and can take a beating its not worth it to put a stock one on to jus have to change it

the 700r4 trannys suck if u ask me personally my buddy has one in his pontiac with a 350 h.o. and he keeps blowing threw them they are only good for about 300 hp where a turbo 400 is a great tranny that can hold alot more power
