Haha yeah, this pickup is either original or supra. There are only a couple of custom parts and most of those are just brackets. I'm working on getting my supra catback exhaust on it right now. I'm hitting fuel cut and the consensus is that it's 'flowing too well' the wastegate can't open fast...
I can be there if you can bring your dremel and fix my wastegate ;). I need to complete the exhaust before I can make that long of a drive in it... Right now ear plugs aren't even really enough.
Yeah I'm still trying to fit the torque plate in this week just to get it done. It's not that it's difficult it's just hard to get on the good mill. We only really have one that's set up to do that much pocketing in aluminum....and get it done in a reasonable amount of time.
The down pipe...
Nah I haven't figured out what I want to do to hide the IC yet. I'm too focused on finishing the interior and the exhaust so that it's driveable without ear plugs lol.
Scott, I'm up in Spokane pretty regularly but haven't made it up there with the pickup. I am making a torque plate for Ryan...
Here's a couple pics of the tight clearances:
The exhaust stuff right now:
Right now it's VERY loud inside, so obviously I will be adding more than just the DP.
Interesting fact - The Supra front drive shaft had the same bore as the pickup rear drive shaft. I only had to redrill the...
Well I've been wanting to do a ridiculous swap for a while and this one just seemed to make sense. I had a parts car with a complete 7M and a pickup with a busted 20R. There's really only one answer to that problem ;)

I like the wheels, except for the fact that I have the same ones :( Mine are the silver ones though not the polished. HP Design, right? I'm planning on moving mine over to my Jetta soon anyways haha. Nice looking car!
I have no idea actually. It really depends on what time you are leaving. It's an extra hour and a half if I go to Spokane first and I don't have a girlfriend up there anymore to stay with the night before. All my other friends up there will make me party if I go up Friday night haha.
All that...
I HOPE that I'll be there. I'm trying to finish all the little things on my project but it's a LOT of little things.... I'm planning to swap out the motor next weekend so if you're available I might bother you for some help.
The fuel pump can die that quickly, trust me. One way that you can check without taking anything apart is to turn on the fuel pump (check the TSRM or search, you can do it with a paper clip) and listen to the fuel pump. If you can hear it in the car, there very well could be a problem. Also, you...
Could be the fuel pump itself too. I've ran into that more times than I would have liked.
Check to make sure it holds pressure for several hours after the car is off.
I've been curious what it would look like with a "reverse cowl" you might call it. Something more like the mkiv hood (and a lot of other cars really). I've always been to lazy to photoshop it myself though.
