I just realized I havent updated this in 8 months. I havent lost momentum or stopped progress, just slowed a bit and started slacking on the pictures. I have my motor completly tore down and waiting to be taken to the machinist this summer. I also picked up a maft pro with all the needed acc. from Cory (RS4rush) for a great price. Thanks again cory.
Rather than splice the maft pro into my harness I decided to build a jumper harness for it. I started with the board and harness pigtails from a cressi at the local yard.
I then desoldiered every pin connecting the female plug to the board
Next I straightened all the pins and soldered and shrink wrapped every pin to the proper lead from the pigtails.
Not to bad if you have alot of soldering and wiring experience but still time consuming. If I wasnt away at school durring the week and not able to do anything else on the car it probably would not have been worth my time and I would have bought one.
I then sliced in the maft pro harness and it was essentiall plug and play. Just have to run the harness in the engine bay and hook up the IAT and MAP sensors.
Is anyone successfully runing the timing control function? I tried it but the car would not start so I unhooked it since I wont be adjusting my timing curve until I have a solid tune and am ready to up the boost and get on a dyno.
