Thanks to everyone and all advice!...Turns out the PB Blaster was a charm. It did not have to hack off the line. I shot with the PB, let it sit over night and it came off with no prob!...Walbro is in! Ready for tuning!
Holy...Sh@#!!!!...That is all I could think of!!!!...That was a hell of an April fools day joke...Almost fell out!!...Good to see all is well in the Supramania world.
What's PB?...I will look for some Kroil...Hopefully one of these shops parts stores will have some...Last thing left to do...Thanks for all the advice...
I searched the threads for information on the easiet way to remove the fuel tank. I saw some good information, however, I have been unable to remove the fuel line. I have sprayed liquid wrench, used all of my strength but it will not come lose. It appears I will need to cut it off...Of course...
Understand...Another question. Never been to a dyno shop but I hear they have widebands to do testing. If I buy the SAFC and then take it to the dyno, can they tune also with the wideband?
Do I have to get both the widebad and SAFC? Not sure what the GEMU is. My cost at this point is high. If you had to buy one for adjustments which would it be? Thanks for all advice. I'm almost there!
What are some of my options for fuel tuning? I thought the AFPR would assist with that. Still trying to get some good ideas. Pretty much I'll have to travel at least 50 miles to get someone to do this. I want to make sure I've got what it takes to get a good tune.
No s-afc. Took all my money making the mods listed. Live in Pa. Close to the Jersey border. If anyone knows a shop in Northern Jersey could assist with my setup that would be good. I want to make sure I don't lean out.
:1zhelp: Gotta to take my 90 Turbo to a dyno since making the upgrades. Problem is they have no experience with MKIII's. Especially with Lexus AFM upgrades. What can I take to instruct on how to tune? I know a wide band will help but unsure what else to tell them.
List of mods:
K&N FIPK...
Does anyone know the exact size of the engine undercover screws? bought the cover off ebay but don't know what size screws go in...Any help thanks...:1zhelp:
Ok...Will be doing the Walbro this week sometime. What about the oil pressure being low. Is that a product of the low idle? Don't want to screw up my engine.
Nice...!...I did not remove the J tube restriction. Can I just cut the j tube off? I'm happy to know the Walbro may solve the issue. I don't have any plate to replace it with.
This weekend I did the Lexus AFM, 550cc, and AFPR upgrade. All went well for the most part. Even put in NGK plugs and MSD plug wires. I started the car and Adjusted the AFPR to 32 or so. Some issues I have now are:
The idle one notch above 1 and flickers. I adjusted the AFM screw not much...
