Well, it seems the person who owned this car before i did never bothered to replace the windshield wipers(ever from the looks of it) & there are all these scratches on the windshield from the old worn out wipers. it's not bad enough that i think i'd actually need to replace the windshield, but...

woah, so according to that thread a starter contact kit is about $9... i was just talking to Toyota on the phone again & brought up that starter contact thing & they said it would probably cost about $300 or so to replace the starter contacts. jesus!!! hell, if i can do it myself for $9 then...
