Yeah, she is going pretty crazy too. I'm not sure it's completely sunk in for her yet that she's moving. And then on top of that she has to do wedding planning :aigo:
Thanks. I was thinking of having a shop recover the refrigerant then do the actual conversion on my own. I picked up the Haynes book on air conditioning.
I'm still not certain where I get the conversion parts. A Toyota dealership?
I would assume there is something like that, because the fuse is 30 amps and it didn't blow. I'll follow the lines on Sunday or Monday after I get back.
Heh, I'm helping my fiancee to move to Tucson for grad school in two weeks so I have a pretty good idea with how much work goes into that.
Good luck with your move! :)
I'm not sure, I think the SPAL goes directly to both fans.
Here are some high-res pics (from previous owner) of the fan area:

So my fans came on this morning for a little bit, and hence I didn't take my car into the shop. However once the car was warmed up the fans didn't kick back in... The water temperature was about 105 degrees Celcius when I got home and shut off the engine.
So obviously the fans themselves are...
They had been working fine till today. The previous owner installed it.
I kinda forgot to put my oil filler cap back on after added oil earlier this week. I'm not sure if that would be related though...
So my electric fans aren't coming on. I checked the fuse and it is fine. Flex-a-lite fans, SPAL fan controller.
I'll be taking it in tomorrow morning if I can't get this figured out tonight. :(
The manufacturer of my Li-Ion battery laptop recommends draining the battery completely at least once a month. (Apple iBook)
My Sprint phone manual makes no mention of either charging often or draining. It also has a Li-Ion battery.
I know this was primarily an issue with the Ni-Cads...
I'll believe it when I see it. Rumors of a new Supra have been going around for a long time, they just bump the expected release date every year...

(btw, the FT-HS is ugly)
Generally the best thing you can do with rechargeable batteries is let them drain completely before recharging them again. If you aren't going to use it for a while then you should leave it at half charge.
My fiancee's iPod mini lasted 14 months. It's not that much of an issue because of the aftermarket replacement options. The principle of it is annoying though. I happened to get the one for my fiancee because it was free with purchase of my iBook. I recommend Rockbox for your MP3 player...
