turbo or non turbo? cause I'm doing a 2jzge swap and reusing my 7m downpipe. but you do have to custom weld the flanges. other than that. from what I saw so far the lengths and everything would work

ok. may have figured it out. the dude from driftmotion said that theirs is a factory jz flywheel. so the oem autozone one should bolt up. kind of nice too. its $130 with a core charge. so turns out to be $60 bucks. saves me over $200!

got the engine mounts today! 120 shipped! still waiting on the engine though

lol good analogy. and I know, I'm not a 7m fan. Bought my first supra and a month later I had rod knock. I'm actually goig 2j though. found a pretty cheap motor so decided to stick with it. I'm using 7m electronics for now. so everythings fairly easy.

are you using the 7m harness or 2j? I'm still farily new at supras but maybe theres a few pinouts on that harness that'll vary. ...just a thought at least. I'm just about to do the swap myself, just haven't worried about electrical just yet

quick update: Just got my silicone tape in today! quick question though. I need to extend the wiring harness and was told to do 18'' is there any other wiring that needs to be extended? I dont have the engine just yet to do a mock up. another thing too, Should I solder or crimp...

my tps seems fine. sorry it took so long to reply. Haven't taken it to emissions again since then though. ran into a bad alt. bad fuel sender and a few other things. thanks for the advice on how to check the tps though, worked great.

thats a good forum to look at. and technically yes. I helped a friend rebuild his 7mgte and didn't find too much difference between that and the na. but I'd want to make sure your engines in good condition before slapping a turbo on it

yeah, only error code was 51. it used to throw 41, 21, and 51 but replacing the o2 solved the first two
