Non- R JZA70s were standard springs. The TTR Springs are progressive (non-equal coil spacing), as you can see in the picture. Standard springs have equal coil spacing.

Supras are pretty decent winter cars. I've been saying that for a while now. It's all in tire choice. A good set of winter tires, plus the LSD, plus the fact that the supra is a BOAT. It always gets traction, unless of course you hit the gas pedal.

it's possible you have an air bubble in the line, seeing as how you just replaced the slave. or your fluid could be low.

That might have been it. It's been so long since I put it together :) I remember I had BOTH pumps, and BOTH sets of lines. Some combination didn't work.

This is just a start guys, obviously the numbers are a little off, and it doesn't take into account things like rolled fenders, and camber yet. I'm working on it though.
