IIRC there was an old thread in this section where someone said a certain year of celica convertible had tweeters in that triangle behind the mirrors and they were almost a perfect fit for our cars. Don't remember the year or if anything had to be modified to mount them however. Might be worth...
I have the tems compatible tokicos on eibach springs. No complaints for use as a DD, other than the way it rakes to the front makes my lip awfully close to the ground. I'd likely go with the bilsteins if you intended to track it at all as the tokico's are fairly soft even on the highest setting...
Have you ever seen a runflat tire off rim in person? They're ridiculously heavy, and they're firmer than the hinges of hell. Added to that they generally wear out faster and more unevenly than the same tire in its non run flat form. They're also a lot more expensive, and a nightmare to mount...
Raptor Racing (likely the one you were referring to), BIC, and chinamen sell DDP's. The made in china ones are available from driftmotion and a couple other places. From what I've seen I would recommend the Raptor Racing DDP over the others.
Something to watch for also is some of the DP's that use the separate elbow bump down to 2.5" on the end that meets the bottom of the stock elbow. My hks did that iirc.
The aftermarket sks removable mags are notoriously unreliable from what I've seen when I was looking into getting one.
This was the stock I was looking into: http://www.combatstocks.com/Choate_Dragunov_SKS_Stock_BlackON_SALE.cfm
I like the dragunov style, and its one of the few stocks I could...
UPS absolutely ALWAYS fucks you over at the border coming into Canada. I've paid $35 in fees on a $25 used oil catch can from a member on here with the value declared as $25 and as a used car part.
And similar things have happened every other times with other items, such as the time I had...
I use the toyota penetrating fluid personally, most of the other crap I've tried from auto parts store just doesn't do the same job. I can't remember the exact part number unfortunately, but they will obviously know what you're looking for.
Could just mail it to them without a return address, with a note to take it to a computer shop to get their images extracted or and be more careful about discarding things containing personal information.
Kinda hard to gauge interest without even a perspective price range, better yet an idea of how many people the manufacturer needs to be committed in order to produce.
I run redline 75W90 in my rear end, it has the friction modifier built in, I actually ordered a bottle of redline friction modifier to go with it but didn't end up needing to use any.
Most unfortunate bro, I take it yours was a TRD GT judging by the front end? There are a lot of Celicas around here, I've been looking for one from my buddy to replace his POS Hyundai elantra but its hard to find one in good shape in reasonable price around here. They're either in near mint...
