Driftmotion make an AEM V2 for our 7m

I got the AEM V2 from Driftmotion installed my 7m and it is doing fairly well. Great job from driftmotion.

Which engine harness are you talking about. If its an 88 engine harness you will need the yellow plug ecu. If its an 90 plus you will need grey plug ecu

Ok just got word back from my tuner from (TDC) Top Dead Center and the unit is doing great on my car. They are actually very excited because this is the first V2 they installed on a 7MGTE. So for the record guys Aaron's AEM v2 for the 7MGTE is a go, it works great! If you are having a problem...

What issues did you exactly have with your wires?

With the first question I'm not sure but yes with the second you can have multiple tune maps set up for different events.

Hey 87 targa I just recently bought the AEM V2 6050 and I am currently having rpm issues also. My EMS is not reading any rpm. What setting in wizard is your set to for cam and crank sensors. All your help is greatly appreciated. Thank You

Hey I just got my AEM V2 in today from drift motion. Which calibration map did you go with to get the car started. I have a 7mgte and the only maps I see are the mk4 maps and lexus sc300. Thank you

I love my 7MGTE although I have had some problems what do you expect for a 24 year old car.

Tht makes sense to me since your plugs are clean. It's defiantly oil if it's blue in color.

I am also looking in to a standalone. Im leaving the piggyback alone. I was looking in to the AEM also it sounds like the best bang for the buck.

Agreed save yourself the trouble and just wait it out until you have the cash for lowering springs.

some decent subs are the 15 kicker solobaric l7. Base was amazing. But its all in what box you put the speaker in.
