I have adefi gauge now with sender I have to find something hat bolts to that so I can put the sensor in.. you can tap it if you want or use the CSI. I am going to tap I don't want to have to start, start, start.. until it finally works..
See the main reason for pulling the battery out is so the airbag can't get power, I say leave it for 30 minutes because cars have capacitors that will trickle power to memory items in the car. If you take the fuse and that you will be perfect, and everything will be safe for you, and anyone else...
Oh I trust you, but I think it's feasible, and it will be a lot of fun.. and disappointment too, I just want to try something new that's all. I think i would take ore pride in the car, if I had a lot of custom things I made.
Oh BTW: Those Defi Gauges I got I wiring them up today (: 110%...
Ahh, I will say it makes everything a lot easier.. though it;s not a easy task anyhow.. it will be nice, I have three 7m lower runners so I can experiment ^^.
Oh alright man thanks, these looks very nice, I do have one question though I got them and one or two gauges the reading on them are still at like 20 or whatever, do they reset or are they broken you think?
Yeah, I know there is a lot of work ahead here. It really is good though people have tried this though. It will be a fun little thing to start hope it comes in on Friday at the latest.
Well I got a set of 5 gauges..
Oil Temp
Tach
Fuel pressure
Boost Pressure ======> Came with sensors for each one.
Water temp
I got the controller box and I am goign to test these and make sure they're in good condition. They're very nice, and I am only missing I think two gauges...
Alright, well I don't know if this is the original trans I imagine it is though. It was just an Idea, I don't know why that drive shaft.. is like that then..
Okay everyone. I have this gap with my drive shaft could I have a 1jz bell housing? or nope..
I am not sure so.. please!! No yelling at me.. what is the difference isn't it like 20mm or cm?
Also are the engine to transmission mounts different for auto trans and manual trans I can get...
I have taken the airbag off my '90 and '91 what I do is pull the fuse, and then disconnect the battery for 30 minutes. then put it back and no problems, also just take the battery out of the car just to make it it doesn't re_connect
:icon_bigg
Yeah, it's going to be hell if it is made out of steal or some sort o f metal that the lower runner will not work with! But hell I like to make things hard for myself as you can see this far, I have so many parts for this car I need to start putting things together.
Well your engine does move, hence your exhaust does, also road alterations can causes your exhaust to swing, remember your stock exhaust and most exhaust have rubber hangers.. that connect to the chassis and are made to move, it's very possible you do have this problem. I have never had this...
I was not trying to say " you " yourself were putting out negative comments, i am saying any constructive criticism is welcomed. I always liek to hear the bad things or complications that may occur with this project.
I would like to weld the lower intake manifold to this, I will have to do...
Ahh! Yeah, no this is a aftermarket one. I still do know I will run into so many problems that will make this a exhausting process, but I really like knowing I put time into something instead of just throwing it all together.
Bryan did you get the ebay link I sent you, I found the telescoping...
Much work has to be done. I am aware of this, so no one see this working correctly huh? if I take the lower intake runner off my supra and then weld them on.. I could even cut this stock top and make this work. i just want to see how this will work, and I like a challenge, I think i did okay for...
Well, the way it will be done it will look very nice. I don't plan on hacking this thing apart.
But thank you for your enthusiasm about seeing this work :(
