If you have no power on the small wire until the key is in the crank position, and the starter is hooked up right, then the internal relay to the starter is stuck on. There are no other choices.
A fuse is a "short" by design. It is circuit protection that stops current flow. It doesn't provide a ground path for current flow.
No, check for power without the switch in the crank position. There is a reason for this.
First thing, the battery ground should be disconnected when you apply battery power, even though the small wire is switched. Check to see that you have B+ on the black wire with the blue tracer. Unless yours is different color. It should say B+. If it doesn't, post a picture of how you have the...
All I see in your picture is a dirty green connector with wires. If you crimp a wire, use a splice without insulation. Toyota sells them to fit the wires. Fill the crimp with a little solder and shrink wrap it. I myself would buy a new sensor because I am lazy like that.
If your timing is jumping all over, you are not in diagnostic mode. It is possible the bolt on the CPS is loose, but it usually doesn't bounce around when it is. The 7MGE provides the correct pick up signals, they are the same. But I am not seeing it, meaning your intention. I can't see all that...
Dissimilar metals, iron block and aluminum head are two of the three things needed for a battery. Factory over priced red coolant was made specifically to combat the third.
That depends on the condition of your motor, as well as the turbo.
As for bolt-on, I have the Boss Jr from Suprasport/Comp Turbo. It is no longer available. You could get a Boss Sr, and just be mindful of your compressor size and turbine for quick response.
I just realized there was missing information in the OP. Does the car crank when you put the key in the start position? The computer does supply power and the ground is constant. It is doing it for a reason. My comment is not related to bad wiring and aftermarket, which could be why the crank...
That is your clue.

That is the repair manual, not the EWD. However, the repair manual has the schematic also. I know that most of it is checking to see why it doesn't turn on.
