That one is the "trigger" for the starter, you should have a lead coming off your main harness that plugs into that. Your fist pic I have no clue, you should only have two wires to hook up on a starter. The trigger, and the main from the bat.

I don't know, I made a "power station" behind where the radio goes. I took the lead for the cig lighter ran that to a relay, ran a heavy wire from the bat to the relay, and then put a 5 out fuse block to feed everything. But I have a ton of stuff to run, so I kinda had to go that far.
