Thank you. Just from looking I guessed I would have to really thrash the car to damage them.
I put maybe 5000 km on my car in a year so I have a very OCD maintenance schedule. It will get checked yearly like everything else.
Sad thing is, with all the improper parts that have given me trouble...
Not in denial, I can see a couple of problems with them and will be watching them closely. Simple really, now it is a msintenance list item. If it does start being a problem, then I fix it. As it stands, they are perfectly fine for now, and I don't see how anything catastrophic would happen upon...
For those of you who like pictures... I made some of these up (I just put his info on my pics)
I find it easier to know what your looking at sometimes.
It may help :D
Now that you mention it, there was a suspicious ST sticker on my seat that I couldn't figure out. Maybe KW market STs under their name? I will look further into that.
The ES bushings and the "scary" YouTube video do have done differences. Why they fail can be more than just the fact they aren't bonded. There are three sizes of pins. Use the wrong size... Failure. That video, the guys got a huge gap. Mine are snug (will put up some photos later today). Only...
I need to find someone local with Tanabe or white sways to drive my car. I know to me it feels 100% better, especially on fast curves, but in comparison I wonder if there's a difference. Tge price difference initially made me a bit leery, but KW seems to make quality product.
I am indeed the only one it seems. lol.
These things are beefier than the originals for sure and now that they are on the car, I know why people say you need to upgrade the stock sways.
Amazing the feel of these cars in a corner with proper sway bars. KW Swaybars came in at 475.00 CDN which...
New bushings and all the other bits and pieces installed. Have to get an alignment now.
The KW Swaybars are amazing (of course.. I have no real benchmark to look at... ).
Highway curves ect.. no body roll, no under/over steer issues either. Car feels so much safer compared to the stock.
At...
I just found those searching. I will be using ES for now, but checking them regularly. I think I may order a set of those bushings and use them if the ES start to fail or work odd. How are your ES bushings holding up?
Simply put... From the wheel. The stock caliper clearance to the wheel - the new clearance would tell us offset. So we would have a benchmark. Not sure if their is a way what I'm asking is actually stupid... But I thought knowing the difference would be helpful, as in... You will be 3/4" closer...
Dammit... The ES bushings are being installed right now, which means I'll have to revisit it. What is the best option?
I saw the battle version and not really interested in those unless it was a last resort. Not fond of the joints.
I may be lucky and find either a really good used set of...
