Nah, the more I drove it, the more I appreciated it. If I have a nice car, I want to drive it constantly, not just on the weekends. Though, I wouldn't drive it during inclement weather.

I too, call BS. They don't even show the cats being actually hooked through the skin, anyway. When they do show something close to it, the cat doesn't even flinch. My bet is that it's all about the camera angles, and not revealing how the cats are actually held to the lines.

When mine's on the road, I drive it as often as I feel like. That's usually daily. It's been two and a half years since mine has seen the road, or even the garage floor. Jackstand queen. :( Drove it through one winter, but that'll never happen again.

Or just go to any glass shop that has a clue and have them cut you a new set of mirror glass. :)

That's why you turbocharge the M. Then you have great handling, AND serious power for the straights. ;)

I'd steer clear of them if I were you, unless you either A) have the exact same mods as the ECU is tuned for, or B) can get a custom tune written by the manufacturer tailored to your mods. Otherwise, there are much better options out there. Technology has come a long way since those days of the...

And removal of the second (outer, closest to the projector lens) shield. This removes some of the yellow light from the output, and makes for a sharper cutoff. That's all I've got done for now. Saturday morning I'll paint the shield and re-assemble it for some comparison output pics...

Use an '87-'88 Turbo (yellow plug) harness and ECU. It should be nearly plug and play.

I've always had good luck w/ rg58 coax cable, often used for HAM radios and CB's. Solid copper core, strong insulation. Holds up very well. But, there are better options for a bit more money. (Check out Belden Wires)
