Well I guess no one is attending this year besides Jason K. from West Jordan(according to the RSVP list), other than myself that is. Well you guys are missing out!
It looks like your oil cooler line that is leaking. If you really want to do the setup right search through the Oil/Lubrication section hosted by JDub. He has a tutorial on how to hook up a full flow oil system. If you just need to replace the hose, any tranny cooler hose will work. there are...
Any one from Utah going to Vegas next weekend for Supra Invade Las Vegas? I saw a couple of MKIV guys from Utah are going on the SILV website. Haven't seen any fellow MKIII'ers yet. I will be going hope to see ya'll there!
+1 on the long extensions in the front and the wrench on the back. But definitely easier with some extra hands just to hold the wrench in place or to turn the extension.
I would get a new/re manufactured one. Aaron at driftmotion has one for not too much...
Just an idea, when I first got my supra, I had the same symptoms because my key would come out while the car was in the run or accessories position, when I shut it off I would simply turn the key and remove it and the radio/clock would stay on. I didn't realize that there is the button on the...
OK I have an update!
I swapped in some new NGK Coppers (6097), and it seems to be running/boosting much better now! They are gaped at .028, now my only question is... What kind of boost/power can I run on these? I have heard of some using them all the way up into the big numbers? I think they...
TSRM states 23-30 with vacuum connected. My afr's are inline with the amount of boost I am trying to run. I am at 11:1 to 12:1 under WOT. So I am pretty sure the fuel isn't the issue. Any more ideas?
THANKS GUYS!!
So just doing some more searching, and maybe it could be the spark plugs/gap? Could I be getting the spark blown out? I am running Heat range 7 NGK iradiums (before I knew that coppers were probably better:3d_frown:). Should I try NGK coppers gapped to about .028 (tsrm specifies .031 but hear...
Ok, So I have recently finished getting some stuff fixed and sorted out and up until now I have been running about 7 pounds of boost. I almost never boost much past 4500 rpms and usually never go all the way to WOT and I guess this is why the problem has never been apparent. So I turned my AEM...
This should help you out! You could have easily found it by searching, but the link is easier i suppose.

Good Luck!
Sounds like a classic case of metered air leak, but my bet is on boost leak. Check all your hose, connections and clamps. My car was doing this same thing, checked all my couplers, re-clamped them, and checked all my vacuum hoses and that fixed my problems right away! My bov is not recirculated...
*UPDATE*
I contacted both Power Play and Turbo Laboratories.
Power Play said,
And Turbo Laboratories has a broken dyno, so they are looking at about 8 weeks before they get the parts and fix it. I am not sure which place I want to take my car to. But I definitely am not going to pay...
What are the prices like? I am looking for a good dyno tune to be honest, no just to see what kind of power I am producing. Do either of you know if they have any experience with the MKIII?
Thanks for getting back with some good shops!
Trevor
I thought I was having the same problem with my injectors not firing and they weren't. My problem turned out to be a kinked line near the fuel tank, which resulted in poor pressure. My cold start injector had a bit of pressure as well from cranking so much. So in short check all the stupid...
*UPDATE*
Ok, so this is another classic case of stupidity... My line coming from the tank/pump to the banjo fitting on the fuel filter was completely kinked! Thanks a lot JJ for the procedure on how to check for adequate fuel pressure, it is what prompted me to check all my connections! (found...
