/\ Correct the 7M is non-interference. And don't you mean a later DSM with a 7-bolt if you like crankwalk? The 6-bolt (earlier) can handle a ton, it's all of their trannies that suck.
He could have a weenie roast in heavy traffic at rush hour :biglaugh:
Or dump seafoam in his motor prior to a race and smoke the other guy out down the track haha
3p: :aigo: When putting everything back together I accidently had the large ground strap from under the fuse box (trying to remember) I think on the starter instead of the block and went to connect the battery and it didn't like that. Took it off and found my problem right away and switched it...
3p: No, for some reason the CEL doesn't come on now, jumpered or with the ignition.
Burntz: Care to loan me a good ECU for a day? :biglaugh: Ha where did you get your sig?
Well I have to run to Toyota on Friday to pick something up, and while I'm out I'm going to buy a few feet of...
I finished soldering in a new set of male and female 4-pin plugs from Auto Zone a couple of hours ago, shrinkwrapped them and covered each in "liquid electrical tape" and put a wire loom over the whole bundle. Connection from the harness to the CPS is good. To be safe I poured another 5gal...
What about the "Ntercooler" or Cry02 systems, those are just cooling the intake through your intercooler, Malkavia.
IJ what are you opinions on the above /\/\ systems?
A set of NGK's is only $20, did you check the gap on the plugs you pulled? It doesn't take too long to remove the IC pipe and coilpack, it's like 6 bolts alltogether.
http://www.suprasport.com/NGK-Spark-Plugs_p_62-90.html I know a handful of people use the coppers, I do.
When a clutch starts slipping revs go up (in gear) but the car doesn't accelerate with them. It's not his clutch.
Have you pulled the plugs and checked to see if they are fouled? It's an easy 15 minute job, or you could get some new good spark plugs for $20 and put them in.
edit...
Pretty sure, it worked a few weeks ago. I think somewhere in this thread I was explaining how it threw random codes one day after another but they never came back.
3p, I can't work on it right now unfortunately, I'm at work. I'll go over the list of things you said to check and get back...
I assumed I have fuel because it is pressureized still and when I cracked the feed line gas trickled out under pressure. Any other way to check?
Wiring is, well, hard and brittle as anyone would expect. Just pull the CPS out, leaving it plugged in, and rotate it with the keys at the 'On'...
Most are pretty easy to get to with just a 6" extention and a socket, the one in the very far back is easier to use a longer extention and a swivel. You should just take the whole assembly off and seal it up with new gaskets, it's $8 for both upper and lower.
Just sit down and make a list of Pro's vs. Con's of each car, my virtual list says that you should spend the $3,000~ and buy the much better car. You do afterall get what you pay for...
Pics of said Supras?
Me? I would spend the $3,000 if it really is in as good condition as you claim it to be. How many miles on each? I may not even pay $3,000 but I would take a nice condition running N/A Supra over a trashed non-running N/A Supra, given the prices.
Throw some pics...
