If you want something similar to the CT26, and want to spend that much, why not just do a small upgrade to yours? Almost the same costwise, and could be done by a vendor on here. ninja edit: and will bolt on, unlike that turbo which would require a manifold, downpipe, wastegate, new oil and/or...

I bought mine not running. Bought a fresh motor and rebuilt it, and have just been troubleshooting things since then. I started this last January... But to OT poster, I'd say buy a stock car and modify it. Once you are confident with your experience level [wrenching] start to do bigger mods.

I'm almost to the point where I want to sell mine and I haven't even driven it yet :cry:

Would you like some wheel with that lip? I would prefer that 10.5" for the back and a 9" in front IMHO. But if it is something out of the ordinary, like for a major widebody retrofit, those would due just fine!

Thumbs down on the T-5 trans if you're every planning on upgrading that motor. What 5.0L high output Chevy motor is that from? Sounds more like a Mustang to me, they all seem to say 5.0L HO on the side of them...

The back of the headlight is right about where the low pressure area begins. Seems like air wouldn't be flowing through there much anyway, even given the small size of the inlet. I think they look pretty good on Satan's car, but it looks cheezy on the eBay car. If I had the extra money to...

Just go single, the heads are not the same IIRC so you cannot put 2JZGTE manifolds on it [to make it twin turbo]. There are plenty of NA-T options for the 2JZ so look around a bit. If I run across a site I'll edit this.

You must resurface the head and block to a low enough RA value to suit a MHG. If you don't you'll be in this same boat in your near future.
