Yep I did, only these fittings I ordered are coated (I think zink) so they wont corrode, witch I was looking for ;)
Not just raw steel like Pegasus racing had. And yes I called Pegasus and asked, they are raw steel with no coating.
Rich,
It dose look like McMaster also has a...
lol $5, I will just open my tool box and grab the tap I have in there.
Im not looking to change the threads on the water neck, ok, got it??????
Just looking for the correct fitting. If you dont know where to find one or get one why are you posting?
Ok what ever, you only answer the phone for them, I get it.
Now back to the subject at hand, the correct fitting (singular not plural). If this thread keeps going this way I will just have a mod close it down and send some PM's to some down under members and have them pick the fitting up for...
Ok now think of it, add that fitting + 1/4 npt to -6an fitting, plus the 90 degree elbow on the SS line. There might be a little clearance issue with the hood ;)
Well Sean, you work for suprasport, why would you sell that fitting with the install kit then?
Yes I know it isnt the correct one or even pipe thread for that fact. Still need the correct one.
You work at toyota, see how much a new set would cost. I wouldn't mind replacing my 20 year old ones with a new clean set/
front one - 17167-42040
Rear one - 17168-42030
New clean turbo next to old bad looking heat shields = looks like fail.
Yep IIRC that is also what suprasport uses, and is the wrong size. That is why Jake stripped out the fitting / his water neck. You have seen the destroyed fitting at my place. Also who long did you drive / run the engine that it didnt leak a drop?
<----Would rather do it the correct way...
Depends if you have the correct thread size / fitting or you just made the npt "work", but yes that would be the one.
BTW npt=27 threads per inch & BST= 28 TPI. the 7m uses BST
I didn't see any part #'s for the one I need, So I will have to call them about it.
Would rather not spend 2 hundo on a simple part. If worst comes to worst and no one knows where to get one (witch I can believe since there are several members using aftermarket liqued cooled turbos) I will...
 you drive a 70 HP Volvo. No where close to 500rwhp. Besides driving you uncles sup once maybe twice, when/what else have drove with 500+ long enough to get board with it :slap:
1.) Just go get your title. It provides proof of ownership and VIN # witch you need for the next step
2.) Have a friend or taxi drive you to a Toyota dealership.
3.) Walk to the parts counter at toyota
4.) Tell the parts guy you need to have a new key cut from your VIN #( code key cut).
5.)...
