Hunt around the ebay stores and find a Stone/Ishino gasket set. They're very well made gaskets and are much cheaper than Toyota or Fel-Pro. I haven't had one fail on me yet.

One of my best friends is a 240sx owner and a total Nissan fanboy. He's always been cool about my Supra. In fact I almost talked him into one but he ended up with a 300zx. But I find that he's one of the few 240 owners I've encountered recently who is not a tool. Ever since the drift craze...
Take your car to a radiator shop and have them tank the radiator. It's pretty cheap and the radiator will be brand new when they're done. Gunk and deposits can build up over time, especially if you're not using distilled water, that are insoluble in water. The only way to get them out is with...
Not really. The drag attributed to the wheels is negligible in the vast majority of applications. Land speed cars need all the advantage the can get and solar cars use the lightest, skinniest wheels that can support the car. No spoke wheels for most forms of racing are a bad idea due to the...
Load of BS. From a performance aspect your looking at total weight and moment of inertia. I see no way the number of spokes would affect that given that both wheels are well designed.
If you're going through the trouble of a swap you might as well put the gte in it. It will take just as much work to get power out of the 2JZ without a turbo. It has other advantages, especially if you plan on going turbo later, but stock for stock it's not going to be that big of an...
Looking for more power does not necessarily mean wanting to be the fastest car out there. Some people just want more power so the car will be more fun to drive. They could also be looking to improve their cars while saving for a turbo kit. In any case, weight reduction is a primary concern...
If you do it I will make you my hero for a day.:)
Seriously, though, it comes down to what you want. It's a pretty new swap so more custom fabrication and less expert advice can be expected compared to other engine swaps. But there's something to be said for being one of the very first to...
I've only been in one race since the rebuild. I pulled up to a stoplight next to an older body style Mustang on my way home from school. It was late, I was tired, and I wasn't paying attention. Apparently this guy thought I was looking at him because when the light turned green he took off...
