Yeah it has a ticking noise when i free rev it, or if i low throttle the car around 3k rpms you can hear the ticking, plus there a little loud if i rev it with the hood open, there is no lack of power though.

1.we shim over buckets is what we have in the 1jz??? 2.Do they go bad & sound like a bad lifter??? I'm asking this cause around 3k rpms sounds like a DSM with bad lifters then it goes away around 3500-4000 rpms, please i need some input.
