If you make a lot of changes to the motor you will need some sort of fuel control.

    High Compression N/A Pistons

I have Wiesco"s, 10.5 ratio. If you go with a higher compression you need to run high octane.

    Rear Main Seal leaking Oil??

If that is what is wrong, you can change it with just pulling the transmission. Have you checked the cam covers for leaks?

Sounds like the center support bearing, they will "clunk" when they get worn.

    7mge headers

I ended up buying a new O-2 sensor and it was a generic one with a wire attached that I soldered to the stock wire. I aggree with benchwarmer, they and any other mods work better, cams, P-n-P, etc. I do remember somebody posting a small gain over stock, 5-7 hp. Probably not feel it too much...

    Timing

Good point, I haven't had any problems running 15 deg., even when mine was stock, but I've always run 93 octane. Some have run 15 with regular with no problems.

    7mge headers

I have Pacesetters, had to open up some of the mounting holes and grind a little on one end to clear something if I remember right. The collector had to be welded on the runners. I thought the placement of the O-2 bung was a little far downstream. Gains??? thought I had noticed a little more...

    Fuel pump fuse

Usally when a fuse keeps popping you have a direct short, like a wire with bad insulation is grounding out. I suppose the fuel pump could be bad also but there is a check for that in the TSRM.

Stalling Sputtering and overheating story of my life

Gas smell is probably comming from the charcoal chanister, I know one of the hoses to it comes from the gas tank. Need to take care of that right away.

dont think its a rod knocking

Proably to late, when the pully comes loose you will usally "hammer" at least the front main bearing.

    Test Pipe for 7M

Don't think it would have anything to do with the O-2.
