i've got to say i've ridden in one of these things (the mustang)... and i was generally unimpressed... these cars (the gt500) are kinda on the heavy side, so i wouldn't be surprised if you did keep up with him just looked at the curb weight here it is... 3,920 lbs for the hardtop...

of course you don't need to use a getrag trans, but then again I don't exactly know what other options there are (although, I know there are several) t-56 is one example... lol... do lots of research? I haven't come to this issue yet, but i'd go ahead and take the car apart... get your motor...

i used one of those cheap plastic deals on my 7mgte... who knows if it made a difference... that wooden one is rather intriguing oh, I do recall having to re-size the holes for the runners.. don't think they lined up/were the right shape, but it seemed to hold up fine after a few years use.

I know it will fit (but it won't) in other words you have to make your trans tunnel larger (i've heard of people just hammering it out) but i'd take the time to widen it correctly.

I've definitely considered the swap, and I'd still like to do a 3s mkiii supra in the future... of course it'll be as light as possible, and I'd like to use it for road racing and auto x... nobody would expect it... that's for sure.. not to mention, like I said previously... these motors are...

i assume you havn't heard about weight distribution... aluminum block 4 cyl. vs iron block 6 cyl.... big difference, bud. and to all those that said the sr20 is weak... i wouldn't exactly say that... definitely lots of potential.

??? it's a wide body? the kit doesn't look bad, but the wing does... and civics, brand names, and all that nonsense have no meaning... the quality of the body work is good, and it looks nice... however, the wing does not look good, and the wheel fitment is TERRIBLE!!!! no wing, or RMM wing...
