I agree with Joe..... Most 1.5 I know blow up. It tends to hold in the 350 to 400 neighborhood but more than that it just goes..... I know a few people that have been successful with it but I guess it's how they did it and the little things that have made a big difference.
I was surprised to know that the 1j with a single turbo no tranny wieghs 30lbs less then a KA with out tranny, with IC and piping way more obviously. Anyways, My 1st 240sx with a 1j weighed in at almost 2800lbs. Traction was always an issue so I would put 3 manifolds in the trunk and vuola!

Jay, for Daily pump on 550's, your safest point would be 460-485rwhp. That's about 80% duty on the 550's. More than that you are pushing the envelope. We've made 520 on pump with these injectors but it is ill advised to do so...
