I added moly skirt coatings to the piston order today, so add a few more days until I have more pics to post. :cry: Rings are going to be 1.2mm thick for top, 1.2mm for bottom, and 4mm for oil.

Pistons are ordered, should be here around July 5th. I decided on Arias for my pistons, they seem to have a lot of experience with high reving import engines. I'm going to run the extra heavy duty tool steel pins. With CP it was going to take about 4-6 weeks, and I really can't wait that long.

For bpu cars the clutch would probably be ok, the issue I had was they they were lying about the pressure plate being upgraded with a "35% thicker spring". I don't consider red paint to be an "upgrade", and that's the only thing they do to the pressure plate.

I always try to keep the AC installed and working, but I can see why someone might want to remove it on a car that's mainly for racing. There is some weight savings, and a lot of extra space in the engine bay when all the AC equipment is removed.

Now it's a waiting game on the pistons. :nono:
