I ran Eibach springs on stock tems shocks for several years on my 1jz Supra, it worked very well setting the tems on the high setting after removing the actuators. The ride was great for a daily driver.

The knock sensors are on the engine block, next to the #2 and #5 cyllinder iirc. They are shielded wires up to a few inches from the knock sensor. It looks like your wires are broken, they should not be coming out frumunda the manifold like that with no connector attached.
I agree, and if it is running that rich it's not good for the rings and cylinder walls. I would suggest borrowing another car until the problem is solved.
