yep you got it... it's 1j manifold welded to the 7m lower runners
cost me all up for it to be made $125 :D
i'll be buying a proper custom intake later on but it solves my problems for now ;)
hmmm i think you've missed the line as i highly doubt it goes there as it would send water into the gate
get a bit of vacuum hose and connect the compressor housing to the wastegate = fixed :)
i just started doing my throttle body tonight
started off 150g
then 320
then 400
then 600
then 800
then 1200
and i'll be buffing it tomorrow with the buffing wheel and alloy polishing compound to get it totally shiney
here's my manifold that i've done and cam covers....
here's...
thanks Swaq :D
she ain't looking too pretty at the mo but once i've finished she'll be mint as she should have always been :) :)
here's the latest engine pic
Throttle body extension pipe = complete yayyyyyyyyyyy
i just gotta get the little wing washer for the tps made so the 7m tps will bolt...
i guess they'd be the same as a 7mgte :p
coolant blowing out the overflow bottle
overheating
temp spiking
white smoke pissing out the exhaust while not idling or running on all cylinders
lack of power
oil in your water
water in your oil *oh yea it's milkshake time*
i'm sure there's...
i've been through the shaved piston trick with a mates 1.5jz
it was the WORSE thing you could ever do
it does affect the structual integrity... .severly
this motor detonated lightly and what do ya know... engine started rattling and rattling, finally tore it down and hello... cracked je...
yea they do use an led but they are soldered in and are one piece units, yea i could take it apart but i doubt insulation tape could hold it back together LOL
can anyone find out what the part number is for the door lock light? i have it on my drivers which is the right side.
mine has a blown bulb and would like a new one but toyota here reckons that it only comes with the door lock but i can slide the light out so i would have thought you could get...
so i decided to go and check on the old old tranny that was originallly in the car (ga70)
and what do you know, the 1g trans has a 1 wire speed sensor
Replaced the original 7mgte 2 wire speed sensor with the 1 wire and code 61 has finally left me!!!!
Altho it works and saves a bucketload...
so, i guess no one knows about auto speed sensors huh! :-p
but anyway...
i highly suggest repairing any codes for your tranny, especially code 61
we have gone from 15mpg to 25mpg :D :D woot! and still no sign of that damned code 61 ;)
edit: messed up the conversion... 25mpg not 41...
so... mums car has been fighting with code 61 for donkeys now... i have finally fixed it
has yellow plug 7mgte ecu/front engine bay loom/dash loom (was a ga70)
has an original 7mgte auto transmission non abs (mums car was also non abs)
plug it all up.... o/d light flashes grrr
change...
the mk3 does make a couple of cameo appearances
i know of no other videos with this mk3 so i guess i'll live with the amount of skylines in it lol
