LOL k you own me there :-p but i just haven't had time... we have two spares here... and mostly it drove fine... only when she was stone cold the rpms would hunt about, once she was warm it was fine! ;) hehe but yea i'll be changing it this weekend, hopefully it might help with fuel...

you figure out your afm is fried way before the ecu throws codes :-p just felt like telling everyone! haha edit: i figured it out about 2 months ago, only today did i finally get codes hehe

the 1g uses the same ignitor setup as the na 7m i believe.... little ignitor and coil on top and i take no responsibility on getting it working LOL (i don't know electronicy stuff hehe)... it's a 9 grand tach... that's what counts :-p

well enuf arguing about that :-p it's a 1g 9000rpm tach and just wanted to make sure it's sellable ;)

i got a tach out of a dash cluster have no idea what it's like when it runs (vehicle at wreckers yard) its an na tach so it's nothing major? ppl can just set it once they get it? if so a new fs thread is comin hehe ;)

what does it mean when the needle isn't sitting at 0 when it's off it sits below it? does that mean it's faulty? we're full of digi dash over here so i don't have much experience with broken analogue stuff hehe

mine is still undergoing build but my mums has been a dd for almost 2 years :) has a water leak out the front timing plate but i top up the bottle every few days... but she runs like a champ :D got annoying code 61 but other than that she goes every day, drives me to uni, has done 20k miles...

i was comparing the 89 7m ecu vs the 1g and theres actually very little that is actually different, theres only a couple of wires different and of course there being 3 inj signal wires vs two on the 1g the 1g's are the same as any a70 get same year mounts and engine harness... and plug her...

yep... interesting observation but they don't point out why tho do they? I say... build it.. do it properly and if it blows then at least tell the world why lol i mean.. are there many 7m's out there making really big power that were built for it? and are their hg's or other parts staying...

you're more than likely missing a codec or something if you can't see it download divx and xvid codecs they'll allow you to see it
