I will say that I had a sheered differential bolt... you can see it still there in one of the pics...
I think the sub frame buckled and broke... then sheered off the diff bolt.
SERIOUSLY, unbelievable... If it were not for the pictures, I wouldn't believe it myself.
These guys at...
20 year old car... high horse power output around 300 to 500 hp. It happens. seriously them mechanics saved me and my car in finding this.
putting another one in for now.
need to have it re-enforced, but i will have them boys do that when i get back from my deployment to the middle east
dang! so many possibilities. walbro, mk IV, a1000, external / internal, bigger fuell lines...
I am so happy! More options! So much room for upgrading!
i need more info still...
hey carter... pm me a price! Very intrested.
so yeah, enjoy the pics. thanks to the amazing mechanics at majesric motorsports in NC... pretty much saved my butt from a seriously bad situation.

http://i426.photobucket.com/albums/pp349/majesticm-f/DSC_0191.jpg...
There we go... but say... I am going all out. I want to push 500 hp right now! But, I want room to improve as well... maybe to 600 or 700...
At what point would I have to just say screw it all and re-do the whole fuel system?
Awesome... so that's what takes a week to do! Gotcha!
Still nonsense. The next thing they will say is that they were both bad and that they will have to replace both of them.
I bet you by the time this shop is done... they will say I have a BHG too.
***I still like my hypothesis...
Uh... no... I have a MK III... and I specifically said... MK III, at no point did I ask about the MK IV.
Of course... lets bring in the MK IV fuel pump in here too... surely could that be better than buying a Walbro?
Yeah, I was thinking that, but it's just difficult to understand why a person from this most highly respected shop would tell me that a stock fuel pump can be superior to a "REAL" Walbro 255. Granted there are the fake Walbros, but still.
Also, how much horse power can one walbro 255 go up...
Well, how could that be? They must be connected! THEY MUST I TELL YOU!
A respectable shop wouldn't spend over 3 days trying to locate an oil leak in the back of an engine... only to tell you a week later it's the front.
HA! HA! Conclusion: THEY ARE CONNECTED!
Sorry, just a little...
Where is it that on a high performance car pushing over 400 whp, would a stock MK III fuel pump be superior to a Walbro 255?
Just had a mechanic tell me that the stock MK III fuel pump was better than the Walbro 255 in such an application... and I was dumb founded. Is this really possible...
No car...
They never finished my car.
I will not be around for a meet till I get back from Turkey Day....
If you all plan to meet prior to the DEC 16th, I will more than love to be there!.
Oh well... at least when it's all said and done, I should have a MK III pushing 500 hp.
Out of curiosity, I am just trying to do some fact checking.
Hypothetically, if you have an oil leak from either the front or the rear main seal...
Wouldn't you be more than capable of telling if it is the front or the rear main seal that is bad and leaking oil?
Is there any easy way...
Okay, out of curiosity...
Who wants to have a 20 year old wiring harness attached to their brand new standalone ECU? Not many people, I don't think....
Anyhow, I am just trying to get some figures here... how much a new wiring harness costs... and how much it would cost to get it...
What am I to say?
They're EXTREMELY busy.
Dropped the car off two Monday's ago. Was told they would diagnosis it that Tuesday or Wednesday, it wasn't quite diagnosed. Rather, when I called on Friday evening (1 hour prior to closing) they were just pulling it in the shop. Then...
Thankyou!
THAT IS RIGHT! HA!
I wanted the BEST SHOP in the state to work on it... not some half-witted hack of a mechanic.
OMG! I had a crappy mechanic work on my first MK III (R.I.P.)... poor poor car... it didn't even have a chance in the hands of this horrid mechanic in town...
SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE MK III's!!! LOL!
It was definitely fun!
Sadly... may not be getting car tomorrow  Seriously wanna cry.
I haven't had my car for some two weeks now...
Well, I am praying they have it all done by close of business tomorrow.
WHEN IS THE NEXT...
What should I be looking at paying then for everything?
I am already getting upset that I was told it would be ready this friday or saturday... and well... they are still doing the new wiring harness. So, the dyno-tuning is still needed. The car has been there since Monday of last week...
YAY! Tomorrow! Tomorrow! Saturday! Hurray!
I finally get to pick up my car. Two weeks without my baby!
I cannot wait!
WOOT!
I will have a new ECU, a well tuned car... and... well... A CAR!
It better be friggin worth the money though!
OR I WILL BE PISSED!
I swear if that...
