I have one of those kits, well just the piping. Go to hightempsilicone.com for your couplers and t-bolt clamps a bit more but so worth it. As for the piping in those kits, they are very thin but definately weldable. I put my BOV flange on a while ago but have stalled on the project. Cheap...
Car did it when it was stock at that low aswell. I run a vented to atmosphere blow off and with a modified stock manifold running both ISC and CSI it died after a pull. I saw car after car on the dyno either die after a pull or have to be revved to be kept alive. Just my opinion. Just saying...
HAHA, good kill, hate the people who are so up to race but will "never lose" cause they bail while they are ahead even if you are coming back strong. I definetly get underestimated especially on the freeway by porschs and vettes. With a car that is multi primed and on flat black stock wheels...
You do not need a the ISC or CSI. With a proper setup my car starts when it is near zero degrees up in Washington. I have run no ISC or CSI on both a LEX AFM setup and a VPC setup both work fine. Car will idle as low as 650 but dies sometime after hard accel and then sudden stop, so it is set...
You do have to keep the needle lights or you can not see them at all. I used the power source from the ring around the cigarret lighter, comes on when the lights do.

Haha, they say the one for the turbo is good to like 480rwhp(NOT TRUE) I run one, dynoed at just over 440rwhp and with some real good traction I can make mine slip. Pretty lame should have planned further ahead since my new setup is capable of 550rwhp....LAME O well ride-her till she dies...
Do a little searching, here and on SF there are a huge number of posts about the stuff. I personelly run the T70 from then with one of their 40mm HKS replica WGs and have not had a problem definetly mod wise for the dollar my top purchases. I will guarrentee you the T70 is not glue together...
My motor is completely fresh, I will get you the full list a little later.
Most boost it would let me run was 18psi and I did hit fuel cut even tho it was 10.8:1. To prime the turbo I put it all on and except the feed line. Poured some oil down the turbo to get it wet. The I turned it over...
I have ran one for 8 months now, made 441rwhp on it, not a problem(knock on wood) Did you prime it properly because if you did not you can dry scare the journal bearings(bushings) and cause leaking.

I custom made a 6" adapter because I have the huge K&N FIPK setup that used to mount to the AFM. Now it is hooked to a 4" intake pipe. I will get pics when I get my car back from the painter.

Not true, cause if it was I would be screwed, I have spun mine around and around while the car is running. Look inside the VPC it is simply designed so that when you turn the knob you complete a different circuit/connection. It is not a potentionameter(SP sorry) style switch. I can spin mine...
Do you have a wide band or anything? Mine even tho running it though the S-AFC, I have to have two of the knobs turned to complete oposites to get it to idle at 14.7. I do not know off hand which two, have only had it in the car two months and the car is at the paint shop. But basically you...
I tried to pop them apart and it was about impossible. I am sure there is a way to maybe melt the adhesive but also there are pins pushed into the backing. Beats me, a coat of clear and mine will be $15 project well worth it.

Damn, imagine that Ron is here to show us all up. Baller! :biglaugh: Looks like you are gonna have about the sickest setup around thats for sure. Michelle is gonna be mad when her new setup already isn't good enough! Like always I am sure it will be amazing work, keep us up to date.

Not going to lie, I have thought about the V-mount set up more then once. The response with IC pipes that are only 2' Long total would be amazing. My idea was to have a fully divided tunnel to make sure both the rad and IC got plenty of fresh air as well as an exit vent on the hood, very small...
