    In 5th gear, at 45mph I'm at 2k RPMs, at 65mph = 3k RPMs, at 75 = ~3500 4.30 is good for around town, but sucks for any sort of cruising speeds as you watch your gas needle become a reverse boost gauge :/

    take the cat off and see if the smell goes away. usually a rotten egg or sour fuel smell is due to a failing cat. The reason it'd do it more under boost is because the computer dumps more fuel, and the boost pressure increases EGT's. The combination super heats the cat and makes it stink worse.

    haha same shit here. I thought it was the turbo drain so I changed that gasket. Then thought oil filter o-ring so I cleaned the mating surface and changed gaskets, didn't work. Then figured it must be the plate. Changed gasket + used RTV on the gasket surfaces and it sealed it up nice and solid.
