have you removed the bump stops yet? I did that and had 1/2" spacers on the stock rims and could turn the wheels out far enough to see the inside of the rims.
you going to be at the Vegas event?
I searched and came up with nothing (both on here and sf). I have an 08 is250 (still waiting on a 1j swap for my mkiii-or I'd measure myself), but anyrate, I swear that the driveshaft in the is250 is the same as the mkiii. just need to know the length. I got roughly 30.5" on the rear...
Yeah, it's the quikcrete 2 part epoxy coating, with the chips. I got it from Home depot.....I bought a grip of other stuff with it, and the lady never scanned both kits that I got... ;) I also got a 2 part clear-coat kit, and put about a gallon of clear on, and will be doing the same for the...
And yes, I do realize that I did do the floor before the walls, which is ass backwards, but I'm only home 4-5 days a month, so getting the cars into the garage (and not having to worry about oil leaks is my first concern) Not to mention that this crap takes 7 days to cure.
Well, on my budget, and with the limited space that I have. My real goal is to have a 7000 sq ft shed with about 3-4 lifts ect., but for now this will have to do.
Eric, I think that I may be definitely interested. I've got a little project that SP is working on for me, and I was thinking about getting the right cam. I had my head built and ported/polished, and looking at my flow specs, the closer that I can get to a .400 lift on the intake and .300-.350...
It pretty much depends on how much lift my cams will have. I'm getting custom ground cams, but I have nothing in the works right now, I would like to see if I could get something closer to the .400 range of lift. in that range, the difference is 13 CFM on the intake, and almost 11 CFM on the...
Exactly. That's why I think it was pretty much a waste. I lost flow in the range that is most suitable for us.
By-the-way, I ended up going home for lunch, so hear are the before pictures.
Okay, here are the pics I took with my cell phone, before having the head packed up and shipped to my builder. Please note, that the head was still in the plastic when I took these.
Just got my head back (Finally-my fault for the delay) from Baker Cylinder Heads in Las Vegas. I got the Before pics on my other computer at home, and the after pics are still on my phone. I'll get them up later. But here's the Bench flow test results:
Work performed:
Level 2 port/polish...
what a giant douche. I guess no one told him that a ferrari isn't really capable of doing burnouts. Now if he was trying to take a corner at 100, he'd been ok.
Yeah it sucks ass (besides the fact that it is full stainless, and pretty free-flowing until that stupid y).. I'm planning on taking mine to an exhaust shop to do an x-pipe back to the dual HKS mufflers I'm sportin on mine.
Since I just bought one 2 weeks ago, I'll have to say ISx50. I already changed out that exhaust, and I'm planning on taking it into an exhaust shop to do an x-pipe to the hks duals that I got.
Awesome, thanks bro.
I also noticed while under the car doing the exhaust that the stock shocks are tokikos. the diff looks like a replica of a mkiii diff. the sway bars are pathetic. they're about 1/2" think and I think that they're hollow as well. The car still handles like a dream...
last set for now
Also for those wondering, the tire size is 225/40 front and 255/40 rear on 18's. I'm thinking either 19's or 20's, luftbahn evolutions-though they're about 800/rim. so that won't be for a while.
