So i just put my motor in my new shell. Got it all ready to start up. Pulled the EFI fuse just to build pressure, and its never did. I have a cheap mechanical guage that ive used before with my other motor.
I drove this motor a couple times before i put it in this shell. I never had a guage...
i would honestly just keep it stock just for now if i were you. And coming from a saturn, this would be really fast... lol just raise the boost to like 12 psi for now and you can save up money to do the other stuff kinda together... you can get somewhere around 280-300 hp with just that, and...
I figured it out... It was all a bad freaking pos. Wire Connection on the battery!! Lol sry for all this non sense, lol but thx for all the help!
I just gotta wait till I get my drive shaft and tranny mount.... And I then i can drive her!
Yes I meant the 2 groups of ground wire.. And I don't think that ground on the head is it either... Well I'm here now swappin over the sensors to see if that's it... Hopefully...
Ya those 2 that r together comin from under the intake manifold r bolted down.
That ground from the head on the back passenger side that connects to the body isnt bolted down, but I dnt think that is it. I'm gunna tighten it just to see but I dnt think it's it... Hopefully it's just that lol
So what dies that mean? How is or not plug n play? I had this problem befor with my 87 motor. I dnt think it has anything to do with the year... Why would it? What's a different plug on the post 89 vs the 87 motor?
my coolant temp also jumps all the way up to a lil over H. starter is tight. idk what it is. theres a loud humming sound in the car, then when the key is turned is goes to the buzzing in the engine bay.
It doesn't not crank... Like I said it buzzes and the lights dim... I have my 87 yellow harness and ecu hooked up to the 92 motor... So I dnt think that is a problem...
Yes starter is hooked up... I'll try cranking the pos. Cable on it tighter...
Oh ya forgot to mention that. When the charger is set to engine start, and I jumper the diagnostic box, it will continuously blink. And when the charger isn't on the CEL wont even light up, and everything else dims...
Hey so I jet got done throwing a 92 7mgte into my 87. My motor got rod knock and then seized up on me, so I bought another motor.
I just hooked evrythin up, put the battery in and tried to crank it over. When I turn the key there is a loud buzzing noise from the round black metal thing right...
?? Wats goin on with the DS? If u cnt do it just let me know.. Lol I see u log on and I've been sendin u messages... Lol or if u have been busy just let me know... Lol
