Hey man Im not far from you and could come lend a hand. Im an electronics major and my mk3 had similar issue. You have bad electrical contact somewhere and that could be in a number places. Im about an hour from you but you obviously need help. If you are interested, let me know.
I had a emanage blue finally running on it, but the guy that was going to tune it a little better moved away, so I never got around fuel-cut. It still cuts at 10-ish, and she gets there quick, so I'm always having to feather the throttle...uggh. Currently wanting to put a Neo on her.

Here is what I got, just remember the KS wire is the one you intercept and splice for the AFM signal. Follow this and your good to go.

Nice work !! Could'nt help but spot the Apexi Neo. Is that the only thing you used for tuning ? I ask because I am about to put one in my 89 which is getting a 2j as well.
