    Usage-based billing for Canadian internet

Here we go again... Go beyond your anecdotal geographically limited experience an find some hard data to back your statements. (Clue: You know damned well I wouldn't be asking for it if I didn't already have the data that shows the opposite). But go ahead, do a little digging, find some...

    Usage-based billing for Canadian internet

That's actually an inaccurate generalization. In some markets there is little competition. In others there is plenty of competition. The options here in Atlanta are so many I'd have a hard time listing them all. I can get cable, DSL, Wireless, Fiber, etc -- all from different providers. (In...

    Torque question?

Best answer so far if you have the sheet. If not, call ARP. There are several different versions of both the studs and the bolts. They have varying torque specs. They will walk you through figuring out which ones you have so you can get the correct spec from them.

    The (old) Official Gun Thread.

That's a big question. It varies from caliber to caliber, bullet type to bullet type, powder to powder. Barrel length can have dramatic effect on pressures, velocity. Yes, in general longer barrels are more accurate, but there are caveats to that. You can make a barrel too long, but as I said it...

    The (old) Official Gun Thread.

Aside from the weight savings, fluting does allow for more rapid cooling, so in a sustained fire situation, you might be able to shoot for a longer period before overheating. For most people, in most applications, the weight savings is the advantage. However overall the effects are negligible...

    The (old) Official Gun Thread.

Correct. I think Gaboon is thinking about the AR chambered in 7.62x51mm (7.62 NATO) - which is a completely different animal. From Left to Right: .308 (same dimensions as 7.62x51mm) .223 (same dimensions as 5.56x45), 5.45x39, 7.62x39

Check this out: http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-01-italian-scientists-cold-fusion-video.html Now I'm seriously suspicious here. And it's extremely likely these guys are scam artists. However, what they are proposing might just be possbile. Take a look at this as well...
