the mechanical does drag power but it just seems more reliable imo.

i was able to test fit a HAYDEN 12'' fan but the reviews on it were terrible so i didnt keep it.

i think since this will be the secondary fan for A/C ill try using the pusher fan from the automatic model. oem :)

Zombie thread but I was looking for an answer to this harmonic balancer question but 1jz OEM pulley to 2jz motor. Also one of the pulleys weights more. And I've used the starter to knock loose the crank bolt. Engine turns ccw so you can only loose it this way. Good luck on tightening it.
