Are you getting a click/clunk sound when trying to start or absolutely nothing? Yes bolt the ground terminals to runner 5 or 6, there is a bolt hole there to use (12mm bolt)

Get a compression check, you have more than likely blown head gasket between cylinders. That can cause temp rise when throttling and temp lowering when backing off and cause the absence of water & oil mixing. So stop pussyfooting about and get a compression check. Don't bother with replacing...
