Since I have no actual data either, I can't argue too much, but there were a few well respected members 6-8 years ago that were extremely happy with the Do-Luck bar once installed in regards to "twisting". I'm hoping to pick one up for myself (without the chipped tooth mod)

I thought that back in the day they were trying to create a "charge pipe" or something like that from the factory which may be why greddy left it. Also, the change in air velocity in the expanded portion probably affects atomization with the additional fuel being added at that point.

As much as I can appreciate what they're doing for our community by providing R&D and some great parts, I won't work with them again. I'd call your cc company and start work on getting a refund. When it comes parts and distribution, there are way to many other options for you to go with.
Sounds like a guy making a little money selling cars on craigslist. As long as you know what you're looking for and how to inspect, then no big deal. If you're worried about that, then I'd stick with certified pre-owned cars which stilll aren't going to be perfect.
I'll see what I can come up with this weekend. Gave him a door last week and I know the tweeters came in so I think he's just gotta configure x-overs for the car.
You are correct on the specs; being HPF/ETS. The only person I know who had one was Nate when he had a 7M. Don't know of anyone else (at least locally) that had one.

I had that happen once. I ended up have to drill the head of the bolt off. Once the head was drilled off, I was able to pull the cylinder head off and the rest of the bolt then backed out easily, should be easy to clean up at the machine shop (as far as the bolt shavings)
