No you can't, unless you change to a 3" vband on the exhaust side.
I'd sell that turbo and get a T61. You aren't going to be able to take advantage of the size of this turbo, with a 1.05 AR and 550s. You won't see full boost until 5500 RPM.
You could also buy a .85 or lower size housing and...
That is not it. The one you show is a 3" vband, going up to a 4" pipe.
This one has a full 4" on it. It says 3.5", but it looks like 4" in the picture. Anyway, that is the one that matches the GT45 ebay turbo, because it was a kit at one time...
I'm surprised for how cheap it really is, that people are either using a cracked one, or using a cheesy replacement from autozone that doesn't fit right.
If you live in Socal and have a proven 400HP (at the wheels) car, you may or may not be aware that there is an invite only section there.
If you need an invite, PM me your socalsupras screen name and I will send it over.
There are 2 different sensors. You have the older plug, and the newer sensor.
What you can do is de-pin the connector using a needle, safety pin, etc and slide the 2 metal pins into the sensor. They will remain snug as long as nobody yanks on it.
If you want the right connector, or...
Keep in mind that you can use the stock boost sensor for AFM delete, but it will only go up to ~14.5 psi in reading. You would still need the pressure sensor harness, then cut and splice into the stock boost sensor output.
Purchasing the Greddy sensor is not required, but makes things much...
I've contacted Thorley tons of times over the past 3 years. They seem to have no interest in continuing production of the Supra header.
They used to make a version that was universal. It had a 5M and 7M piece that was each to change out at the bottom. In order to sell the maximum number of...
I have found also that after you remove the AFM, you have to adjust the map to account for the fact that the flapper is not in the way.
You also have to account for the ISC. When cold, it is going to mess with the vacuum readings.
I am probably probably going to switch back to a GM or...
You need to select a single person to decide on specifications. When 20 people are shouting about what they want, nothing ever gets done.
Put someone in charge, create a schematic, and then we can get the prototype built.
After the prototype is built, it will be sent over the waters to...
I don't try to market modified parts as mine. I am honest about where parts come from (china usually), who made it, etc. People online tend to associate the company with the modified part.
Both of us have been referred to as having a "chimp header" or "935 header", when either version is...
Nobody cared when raptor copied the tri mil.
I don't see the problem if it is a rare discontinued part that nobody offers anymore.
I don't think any of the vendors are going to take the time to make a header from scratch. Our only choices are to modify what is currently out there, or have...
What we do with our headers is use a screw in style o2 sensor. It makes placement easier and gets the o2 sensor into the exhaust stream. We include a new bolt on o2 sensor as well.
This makes buying replacements easier in the future.
We already sell bolt on pacesetter and OBXs.
Regarding the TRUST bolted to 7mge,a new lower section would have to be made to bolt into MK3. It will bolt to the head just fine, just need to make sure there isn't a distributor issue.
That can be solved by running 7mgte electronics, which...
