Ok pulled the gas tank out today. Haven't taken out the sender unit yet as it took me time to pull the tank and clean to top of the tank of the dirt to prevent it from falling in the tank when I open it. I did realize the pressure line from the fuel filter to the sender unit was pinched. That...
Ok I got back into town yesterday. New fuel pump did arrive to my place. I will start dropping the tank tomorrow and swap the pump. Will keep you guys updated. I'm guessing it still has the original pump but won't officially know until I pull it out.
Oh don't get me wrong, I'm a bmw nut myself. I've owned a few myself over the years and loved the he'll out of them! My concern is the fact that owning bmw's I know how expensive repairs are and constant issues they face compared to Toyota's history of reliability. My older brother had a sc300...

I'm getting conformation on the s500, but what about the s320 caliber on stock rotor theroy? Is it true? I might buy just one side to test it out! Of course after i get the car running first!
I've watch that video a couple of times. I've read on another forum that he should have used the s500 or r350 rotors instead of the 350z rotors.
Ive also read something about evo 8 calipers and sti rotors on the rear but requires modification to the rotors
I personally would post this thread on a bmw forum as most of the platform will be done by bmw as in engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, ect as they say. Toyota is only providing the body/frame of the vehicle again as they say.
Also body looks a bit like a cross of GTR and LFA. Is it...
While being out of town I've been reading up on the big brake mod on our supras. Supposedly the Mercedes s500 caliper and rotor fits on these supras. I also read that the Mercedes s320 calibers fit on the stock rotors! I'm considering the s320 calibers but what year s320 do I need to get them...
What is the difference between your wife and your job?
After five years your job still sucks.

Do you know what 6.9 is?
A good thing screwed up by a period.
No doubt my goal right now, getting it running right. Ordered the fuel pump already, just shipped out. Will be out of town for a few weeks so will install the pump when I get back into town. Hopefully it runs after that (fingers crossed). Then my next goal is to make sure there is a mhg with arp...
Would it be a good idea to consider adding a oil catch can to the pcv system to help reducing the oil flowing back into the intake system or is the oil beneficial to the intake system?
Hot diggity damn that is bad. My pcv is still intact so hopefully my engine isn't like that. Who knows what the previous owners have done. I need to check to see if the hg has been replaced with the arp stud and nuts!
Which kinda brings me to the point, why do those who have no clue try to do?
The front upper radiator/headlight support on my supra Has been hacked away. Therefore causing a lazy eye headlight on my passenger side. Now i got to find a good one and have a body shop weld it on. I've ran into guys...
I'm keeping my supra stock for now but just wanted to know why some other remove some of these systems. From what you said there are no benefits to removing them.
I'll be ordering the pump by Monday and then swapping it out. Fingers crossed.
As I wait to get a new fuel pump, I'm looking into other problems the supra is having.
Figured out why the passenger side headlight didn't work, one of the harness wires where cut. Fixed it and got it working.
Installed my foglights i got but they didn't turn on so have some diagnosing to do...
So to add a walbro I have to drill out the j-tube? Can the stock fpr work for the walbro pump?
I did pull off the rail today to check if injector are stuck open which they are not. More then likely will put new seals on the injectors later, they look good but would rather have seals new. I will...
Well I learned another thing. Learned about the j-tube. Went and checked on mine and it is still there, has not been bypassed, and has not been drilled out.
Question, if I do drop in the walbro 255 without bigger injectors or adjustable fuel pressure regulator would I need to bypass the...
What would be the economical (cheaper) version of our denso fuel pump? If I decide to go with a higher flow pump (let's say walbro 255), would it be ok to use on a completely stock setup? I'm seeing 255, 320, 340, and 380 lph kits on ebay like 1/4 the price to same in price of stock denso. Any...
Ok after watching a vid on YouTube and taking Pi advice I figured my fpr is not the reason for the pressure drop after the car is turned off. I clamped the return line off near the fpr and jumped +B to Fp. Built up pressure the once I removed the jumper, pressure dropped fast. The YouTube was...
