I went with a set of Toyo proxes T1R's last year and Im really pleased with the amount of traction to tire wear. The previous falkens I had seemed to wear too fast for my liking. The size is 275/35zr18 and they grip hard from a roll in first gear. Im making around 350 whp.
Not really sure on all the differences but to put this differential into a non-torsen MK3 you need the Torsen axle shafts too (they are longer then normal).
I have heard you can put the torsen center section into a USDM pumpkin so you can still use the USDM axles. Not 100% on this since I have...
This Torsen differential I personally pulled from my 1991 JZA70 Supra. I took pictures of it bolted in the MK3 subframe and what it looks like on the inside.
The Torsen pumpkin looks almost the same as a regular MK3 diff on the outside, but once opened up its pretty apparent.
Regular LSD...
Honestly most of the stuff you brought up I have already heard about these cheap kits. But.. they are cheap..
Ive always wanted to try a set just to experience it for myself. If it doesnt work out then Im okay with it and they can sit on the shelf since it only cost $100. Its a different...
Picked these up on E bay the other day. Actually looks to be an alright kit. High and low beams with proper aiming is what caught my attention. And for $100 to improve the already shitty lights on out cars is a CHEAP alternative IMO. What do you think of this kit and have you tried them out...
Finished up the last of the interior and installed the rear panels. Cleaned up and painted all the 89+ body moldings I picked. Installed them all besides one piece on the front left fender that some how Im missing? lol
Threw the 18's back on since I was tired of looking at the hella sunk saw...
It is less then $500 for the rack itself just making safe play room with all the taxes, shipping and other fees.. Plus I still need to get high pressure lines for the rack too.
Im going to pull the leaking one out and go for it. If all else fails and I cant find parts Ill just put it back...
Well I came to the conclusion that my steering rack seals are gone along with the leaky lines. Pulled a dust boot off to find it full of oil.. :(
So instead of putting out $500 for a reman rack has anyone tried changing the seals themselves? I would much rather do it myself if the parts are...
Here is the dash removal write up. Go to page 50 and follow it religiously and you will not have anyissues. Pulling the dash on these cars is extremely easy compared to a lot of other cars out there. I have had the dash out of my car more then once and I still would rather do that then pull the...
Its much easier to just put in the spacers. Sub frame bushings are time consuming and a bitch to do at times. I only did the spacers and was happy with the improvements.
I bought the nylon ones from bicperformance also. They do transer in some rear end noise but they worked great to reduce wheel hop and shimmy on hard corners.
