ok...so i guess a dyno queen can be decent on the streeet. i just was wondering because it reminded me of RC cars and how some people will drop 2k dollars into an all-metal polished RC with almost no stock parts left and not use it at all... "shelf queen"
it would be silly if someone did that...
i see. i had the impression people built them for the sole purpose of running numbers, and possibly not even racing....
and yes, building a quick car that can only run in a straight line at racetracks seems pointless...for me at least.
oh hey bud i'm sorry...
but best of luck...i think having a motor built that can handle those numbers is a HUGE step... you cant build a castle without bricks...
who cares if it takes a long time... i wish i was where you're at....
good luck finishing! dont feel bad! i meant to...
I was curious...people mention dyno queens, and while the term and idea is obvious, i was wondering what makes a car a "dyno queen?" I ask because i was wondering if the tune on a car showing 900hp on a dyno wouldn't hold true on the track...or what?
or is it just the fact that a lot of...
I always imagined it was that punk kid's car...and since its a father and son type dealer i figured that was his car, that maybe he couldn't afford, and the dad sold it....
its is a bit difficult to keep sounding plausible in your mind if you are a practical thinker, but...
one - not a lot of...
on the topic....
is the CC supposed to reset to 75 every time you turn the car off? that kinda annoys me....
i think thats part of the reason buttons wear out so fast...you have to fool with it every time you start the car...where as a dial would stay there and be an easy one-touch change...
LOL!! damn it!! i read that whole thread for NOTHING!!!
crap....:nono:
this isnt going to happen...is it?
i was going to mention that Dwane is pulling much more HP...and his clutch didnt even hold...
well when i go cold start...let it run for a bit...oil pressure rises... then revv through the 2500-300 area, and mess around in that RPM level for a bit...i hear/feel nothing.
but if i go to the store after some driving...the motor/something feels rough...like a knocking.
so every day when i...
How long can you baby drive rod knock?
i hear rough knocking sometimes and sometimes it revvs smooth as can be...
i dont know what to think and i was tempted to sell her just because i hate the thought of rod knock.
/\ lol...i like how conveniantly that worked out.
i bet it feels good to have someone trying to make a car that looks almost identical to your own huh?
