OH NOOO!!!!!, we just put so much work into it, that sucks big time.............BTW people this is a RHD JZA70, and one of the very few Mica green cars, so it shouldnt be too hard to spot. Me and Jeremy are going 4x4ing this weekend around Harrison/ Chehalis lake so we will keep and eye out for...
HPF Bronze...Hands down. I have it in my car now and I love it, its the best clutch I have had on my cars. It is very slippable and has no chatter, I have also been to the track a few times and it holds up great. I am currently making 420+ whp. I have the ACT HD PP with it on my 1jz, it is rated...
The blocks are the same, and the brackets will work on either, just the oilpan/ sump is different and the fuel line block thats on the stock bracket is different.
The intake support bars need to be removed when using the mounts, but they are not needed, I have been driving without them for years without any problems. And the fuel line block will also fit with the brackets. Which motor are you using?, supra or soarer?
I was going to run the intank mk4 pump to the 044 then to the rail with a sinlge -8an line system, just like your basic booster pump system, people have been doing this for years. The thing is I just need a little more fuel for 550-600 whp where one pump doesnt cut it. Remember the higher the...
I have mine removed too, and yes my hood shakes at highway speeds, it also sucks in hot engine bay air when using the a/c or vents, scince the air intake is right on the other side of the weather seal. Another option is to just cut the sides off the seal and leave the middle on where the vent...
I was looking into the Bosch 044 pump too, but I was going to leave the mk4 intnk pump, and then run the Bosch inline with -8 an to the rail with stock return. Rather than 2 intank walbros.
Have you guys thought of using a battery out of a late 90's Honda?, they are about 2/3s the size of the stock battery, and shoould still have a decent amount of CCA. you might even be able to turn it sideways to allow room for the IC pipe.
Stock should be 33-38 psi as per the mk3 TSRM. I have mine set at 30 psi, scince I am using 550's with a Mines ecu and an afc, and i am still pulling 25+ % under boost.
$1.25+ a litre for 94 octane here on the west coast of Canada, which equals $4.72 a gallon!!!!!!!. Its getting to be $70+ to fill my tank, but my 400+ hp SUpra gets better milage than my 92 Toyo truck, so I daily drive the supra now.
Dave, you still gonna come out, even if your cars not done?
I will be there, my car is finally up and running too with my new single turbo setup!!

Well over the winter/ spring I swaped out my damaged 1jz and picked up another Soarer 1jz and dropped it in. I also went sinlge while I was at it. I went to the dyno and with a over rich tune it made 368 rwhp at 15 psi, and at 18 psi it made 418 rwhp on 94 octane pump gas. The dyno didnt have...
Make sure you have the correct bracket on the correct side. The L bracket goes on the Intake manifold side and the R on the turbo side. You might also have the brackets in the wrong set of holes. I know if using the front sump oil pan the brackets will get in the way of the turbo oil drain, but...
The tickness of the pre 89 mounts is 2" including the top cup/ plate. so if you get it made 2" thick it should work, however the stock 87-88 mounts have the top and bottom mounting bolt are off set about 1/2" form each other, but scince the x-member area is slotted, a straight through bolt...
