I will be honest, in our experience with the MAP ECU and 7m is not good. We love them on anything but a karman vortex metering system. The car will always have a tip-in, and weather changes will causes issues.
On one car we swapped to AEM, and it was night and day.
I believe I have a very...
If you remove it, you need to switch to a manual steering rack. If I remember, there is one from a fox body mustang that fits with a kit that used to be available on the market. Hopefully someone with experience can chime in.
Because everyone wants into your VIP "room" duh! Why else would Mike be so into guns? gotta keep the grubby kids away.
But.. that video made my head hurt. Think Talladaga nights, when they play the jazz music in the bar? Im the bald guy.
I know it sucks, but thank you for making the right choice. I hate seeing these cars go down in the hands of people wanting to cut corners.
You can use that hose for coolant, or PS.
I am speaking from experience on past failure. I can not confirm if it was Summit or gates push lock, but it was a non fuel rated hose.
Keep the hose, make use of it for some coolant lines, reorder the right stuff that is rated for fuel injection. Fuel line is not something you cut corners on...
Nope, if its not rated for fuel don't run it. I can not tell you how many times I have cars come in with issues that were a result of incorrect fuel lines. The interior will degrade and collapse.
They have push lock hose that works with fuel, it's just pricey.

I had some chinese rice liquor that is 130 proof. That shit tastes great then burns... oh god does it burn.
Likely a j series engine for now. This block was actually built with the intent of running a 3 turbo setup. I was going to build a "quick change" manifold so I could go to big events and do well at all three showings. Have a dyno turbo, drag racing turbo and a road racing.
I would spend at...
I've reached a cross road. I can not build the 7mgte to the level I want. I also refuse to cut corners.
That leaves me with my block that I built a few years ago to move on with to allow me to get the new project engine for the shell so I can enjoy the car again. I know my cost of building...
Update:
After playing with ignition Sync, it seems to have cleaned up to 7psi. Im going back to the steady state Wednesday to see how it does to 14psi.
I will recheck the wires, they are new, so they should not have any leaks. As I said in the first post I madea 8gauge ground for the coil pack chassis, and I've played with timing and have and no change.
Anyone have a ignition map from similar setup they mind sharing with me just for...
I spent some time today playing with ignition timing with the AEM in the breakup range, but I did not notice any difference. I am not noticing any fuel drop out, but it is running a walboro. I don't know if it is possible the pump is giving a problem, but I do not have ANY leaning issues, it...
Currently .024
I started with them at .028 on the dyno, and took them as low as .019 with the champions, then installed the NGK's at .024.
It should be noted that plug gap changes made no change to the way the vehicle ran, or would break up.
I am a bit stumped at this point. I've read and reread everything I could find on the topic.

But that does look like a good deal. Have fun doing it. And be grateful its much easier on the MK III. Ive done several MK IV 6 speed swaps from Autos, it involves welding in a new floor section.
