    Break up!

Retarded timing will cause no power but not break up. IE bad knock sensor wiring will turn our cars into a prius.

    Break up!

For the sake of absurdity, toyota claimed its fuel filter to be 1 million miles or lifetime. Nowa days we know this to be total toast. Particularly with todays fuel, change your fuel filter every 50k or earlier as needed.

    Break up!

Yeah, at the male plug but could happen at the ignitor too.

    Break up!

Backlash, have you checked your main harness going to the coils. I had a problem with the wires started to pull out and under load the 12v would arc to the coil wires firing other cylinders. This cant be checked with a simple continuity test because its not actually touching anything. I just...

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

So has anyone tried fitting a 24v electrical feed to their ignition? For alot of those complaining about 15psi problems, thats fuel cut. Im running maft (1st gen) and 550cc inj. Hit fuel cut at 15psi

    spark blowout, plug gap Q's

Ive been running 14psi on 550cc inj. If you are still on 440s your not gonna get much better than 11psi unless of course you are already running a maft or something. Denso part number is 4504 gap to .032

1zz. Coils are totally different. The only thing you could use is the coil spacing. The bolt holes wont line up either. However, if you are ffim then accel and msd make a great upgraded coil that fits right in the hole. Its just got an angled plug.

duel ignitor getting hot help please

I havent been able to confirm the decay across the pair under running conditions. I dont believe the decay is quite that agressive and certainly not perfectly halved across the pair. 12v reaches both coils. When the secondary collapses it fires both (which is why they are wired parallel rather...

duel ignitor getting hot help please

So how is this working for you? Ive been running the dg500 setup since last october at 14psi with no problems.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

The only complaint I have heard so far is a breakup at 15+ psi. However this is a problem with the ignitor not the coil setup. I have a customer that is going to be running with an hks dli so I will keep tabs on that. I have figured out how to use a msd dis 4 (in theory) to run wasted spark but...

Cps ohms out in spec. There are some little metal hairs. Never thought much of it. Wires are good. I have a spare cps I can throw on and see how it goes
