i had a feeling my tps was the issue that ive been having... it must have fried when the connector shorted together multiple times...

when i do the te1 to e1 jump i get the cel code 11, and even when i unjump the te1 and e1 the car doesnt advance after the timing is set.

so if my idle timing is at like 25 degrees does that mean my timing belt skipped a tooth? because no matter how far back i go on my distributor i cant get to 0

just for preventative offers, replace your head bolts with ARP head bolts... and torque them puppies down to 90 ft lbs with their machine grease, this engine will forever from then be bulletproof.

ecu hooks up, engine mounts are different, oil pan and pump are different, intake manifold is different. the good new is, the head and block are the exact same and everything has its place even tho its a different car the bolt holes will be there. i know all of this because i swapped a jdm 7mge...

have you measured the TPS to see if there is a dead spot at that point in throttle?
