Just because it was driving for 3 hours doesn't mean it couldn't be the capacitors. Take the ECU apart and check all the capacitors and the boards for anything abnormal.

My old one had them.

Do I gotta change settings in the inital ignition settings or is it just plug and play?

I'm having the same problem. no load/load breaks up. 10AFR's NGK BKR6E plugs gapped to .024, stock ignitor, stock coils, Dwell is set to 2.0. running a haltech PS2k. no boost controller. Ran 15psi in my old car with all the same internals. Just pulled out of old car and dropped into new shell...

how do you know its reading incorrectly? Mine was a na automatic. I put a turbo tach in and it works fine.
