id like to try and make 600whp on this turbo and be happy with it that's a lot out of a street car and should be beyond fun. the qsv makes the power-band so instant! there are many people doing 600-640ish whp on these little 62mm's its crazy!
that's the exhaust housing i am looking at with this turbo cant decide if i should get the sp qsv or not i here nothing but good things about them on 2j's but your the only guy with a 7m i know using one lol...btw let me know when its tuned ill have to come check it out and get a ride man car is...
wow! when you think it will make full boost and how does it hook up? sorry you said awhile back in this thread but what are the specs on the precision turbo you are running? jorunal bearing? a/r housing?
please let us know how the holset does Jon im very interested in your build! i need to buy another hy35 or he351cw 9cm. from ya :) if you find one PM me...good luck on your build!
sorry to dig up old news guys but does anyone know what setup tony was running a few years back when he was still r154 5spd. and ran low 10's at 130-140mph? any specs on the turbo or build he had on that? very interested!
yes i vouch for that as well Shane built my 7m motor and have had zero problems with it now we just need to get a tune and maybe throw a different turbo on her lol :) Shane is the man... tell Shane to get ahold of me once your car is running or ill get ahold of ya so we can check it out!
i agree on the forged setup : a nice forged setup, headwork, and cams 264 or 272 you wont be melting anything or having failure, 10s will be in the bag with good slicks and a good launch!! props on the setup Devin and we hope to see that 10 second slip :) make the ct26 7m powered mk3's proud...
